The Hope Institute for Children and Families’ Dream Home Raffle is a large fundraiser. The raffle aims to raise funds for The Hope Institute for Children and Families in its continuing effort to empower individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society. In addition to supporting The Hope Institute for Children and Families, the raffle will be giving away over 700 prizes, of which the grand prize is a $1.75 million home or $1.5 million in cash.

All tickets entered into the Early Bird Drawings are re-entered into all subsequent drawings and the Grand Prize Drawing.
At least three weeks. All tickets purchased before an entry deadline are included in a drawing even if the customer's portion of the ticket arrives after the drawing date.

Tickets are $150 each, 3-packs for $400, or 5-packs for $550.
You may buy as many tickets as you like.
Only 35,000 tickets will be sold. The chances of winning are based on that number. If fewer tickets are sold, the chances of winning the Grand prize and other prizes improve. There are over 700 total prizes making the odds of winning a prize 1 in 50. Purchasing more than one ticket increases the chances of winning.
The odds of winning the $1,750,000 Dream House or $1,500,000 in cash are based on the number of tickets sold. If all tickets are sold the odds of winner the Grand Prize are 1 in 35,000. There are over 700 other prizes also available making the odds of winning a prize 1 in 50.
Over 700 prizes are awarded including vehicles, vacations, electronics and more.
There are three Early Bird Drawings. This is meant to encourage people to purchase tickets sooner rather than later. If you purchase a ticket before an early bird deadline you are included in the early bird drawing, the subsequent early bird drawings AND included in the grand prize drawing. All tickets entered into the early bird drawings, as well as early bird drawing winners are included in the grand prize drawing.
All tickets purchased by February 19, 2016 will be entered into the Early Bird Drawing 1. The Early Bird Drawing will take place on Wednesday March 2, 2016.
All tickets purchased by March 18, 2016 will be entered into the Early Bird Drawing 2. The Early Bird Drawing 2 will take place on Wednesday March 30, 2016.
All tickets purchased by April 15, 2016 will be entered into the Early Bird Drawing 3. The Early Bird Drawing 3 will take place on Wednesday April 27, 2016.
Any individual who buys two or more Tickets will also receive an entry into the Multi-Ticket Drawing for each Ticket purchased. For example, if an individual purchases two Tickets, that individual will receive two entries into the Multi-Ticket Drawing. If an individual purchases three Tickets, that individual will receive three entries into the Multi-Ticket Drawing and so on. To be eligible for this drawing, entrants must purchase two or more Tickets using the same name and mailing address on each ticket and the entry must be received by 11:59 p.m. CST on May 20, 2016. The Multi-Ticket Drawing will be held at the same time as the Grand Prize Drawing. Multiple tickets purchased at the same time are eligible for discounts. 3-packs are available for $400 and 5-packs are available for $550.
Any individual who purchases a Dream House Raffle ticket may also purchase 50/50 Add-On Drawing tickets to win a jackpot equal to 50% of the cash proceeds from the sale of 50/50 tickets. Be sure to check back often to see the jackpot amount that is updated daily. To be eligible for the 50/50 Raffle, at the same time as an entrant purchases a Ticket, the entrant must also purchase at least one (1) 50/50 Ticket. Each 50/50 Ticket is $10.00. The following discounts are provided for multiple 50/50 Tickets purchased at the same time: five (5) 50/50 Tickets for $25.00 or fifteen (15) 50/50 Tickets for $50.00. No 50/50 Ticket entry will be accepted at any time after the purchase of a Ticket. Both the entry for the Ticket and 50/50 Ticket must be received by 11:59 p.m. Central Time on May 20, 2016 in order to be eligible to participate in the 50/50 Raffle.
Any individual who is otherwise eligible to participate in the Raffle, who posts a public link to the Chicago Dream House Raffle website (www.chicagoraffle.com) on his/her Facebook page will be entered to win $1,000 cash. To be eligible, (1) the post must include the hashtag #ChicagoDreamHouseRafflePromo and be made by 11:59 p.m. Central Time on May 20, 2016 and (2) a screenshot or photo of the post along with the entrant’s name, email, and phone number must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org by 11:59 p.m. Central Time on May 20, 2016. Only one (1) entry is permitted per person.
Any Ticketholder who purchases one of the first 5,000 Tickets sold will receive an entry into the First in to Win Drawing to win $5,000 cash! Tickets entered into the First in to Win Drawing, including any winning Ticket, also will be included in any Early Bird Drawing for which the Ticket is eligible and in the Grand Prize Drawing. The drawing will be conducted at the same time as the First Early Bird Drawing.
Any individual who purchases a Ticket and also purchased a ticket in any of the following raffles will receive an entry into the Loyalty Drawing: 2015 THI Dream House Raffle, 2014 Dream House Raffle, THI’s 2013 Dream House Raffle, or THI’s 2011 Dream House Raffle. To be eligible for this drawing, the entry must be received by 11:59 p.m. CST on May 20, 2016. The Loyalty Drawing will be held at the same time as the Grand Prize Drawing.
Any Ticketholder who purchases a Ticket on a day that is designated as a Prize Burst Drawing Day will receive automatically an entry into that day’s Prize Burst Drawing to win an Apple iPad Air2 16GB WiFi or $500 cash. There will be three (3) Prize Burst Drawing Days held at random during the period beginning on January 18, 2016 and ending on May 20, 2016. Be on the lookout for notices on the website and sign up to be on our email list to be notified. The Prize Burst Drawings will be held seven (7) days after the announcement of a Prize Burst Drawing Day.

The Hope Institute for Children and Families reserves the right to change the drawing dates to be held earlier if all tickets are sold before May 20, 2016.
Winners will be notified by phone or email based on the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase. The winning names will also be posted on this website shortly after the drawing.
Any person 18 years of age or older. Employees and members of the Board of Directors of The Hope Institute for Children and Families, employees of their agents, consultants, attorney, independent accountant firm, their spouses and children living in the same household are excluded from participating and are not eligible to win a prize. All federal, state, local laws and regulations apply. The raffle is void where prohibited or restricted by law. An affidavit of eligibility, provided by The Hope Institute for Children and Families, may be required from prize winners.
No. The IRS does not allow raffle tickets to be a tax-deductible contribution.
Yes. In addition, The Hope Institute for Children and Families will withhold required federal taxes for all prizes over $5,000 in accordance with federal law and the organization will remit the balance of the cash prizes to the winner. All prize winners of prizes over $5,000 will be required to submit an IRS Form W-2G in order to be awarded the prize.

Prize winners will be contacted according to the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase.
